Central Career Center at Briscoe and LearningFront™
2006-2009 School Improvement Project

PURPOSE
Context

Every high school in Maryland faces a common challenge. By the year 2014, 100% of their students are expected to meet the proficient level for reading and mathematics. Moreover, students entering the ninth grade in 2005 are required to pass new high school graduation testing requirements. This School Improvement Project, "Building a School Improvement Process," was designed by LearningFront™ to support Central Career Center at Briscoe in its quest to show continuous progress in meeting and exceeding this challenge.

School Improvement Planning and Support

LearningFront™ worked collaboratively with the Central Career Center at Briscoe School Improvement Team to develop the components of its school improvement plan for the 2006-2009 school years. LearningFront™ support focused on the analysis of school performance and best practices data to improve continuously the vision, goals, objectives, action plan, and performance of Central Career Center at Briscoe.
