Purpose
Why are we developing our plan? As part of our on-going school improvement process, Edmondson-Westside High School is ready to update our school improvement plan for 2006-2009. In the next three years significant improvements must be realized to meet long-range goals. For example, by the year 2014, all high school students are expected to meet the State proficient level for reading and mathematics. Moreover, students entering the ninth grade in 2005 and thereafter are required to pass new high school graduation testing requirements in four content areas.

This School Improvement Project, "Meeting the Challenges of School Improvement in the 21st Century," was designed by LearningFront™ to support Edmondson-Westside High School in our quest to show continuous progress in meeting and exceeding these challenges.
